Special for P., in V., WA.....

Here is the story:
P. (I think, no , I hope...she will recognize herself) was looking at a picture whose main subject was a bench; But she noticed that, BEHIND the bench, there was a rock, with a plaque on it.Immediatly, she wondered what was written on this plaque.
Here is the answer:

1988,july,26: inauguration by the Lord Mayor Jacques Médecin of this piece of art made by Bernar Venet, in the year during which the expression "Côte d'azur" became 100 years old.
This piece of art was bought and offered to the town by the Association of Friends of Arts called "Animart".
Then follow the names of the members of the association, most of them being business entreprises.

The name of the piece of art is : "Arc, 115°5".
Here is the rock:

And here is the piece of art, which is behind the rock, which is behind the plaque, which is behind the bench...

As you probably noticed, this arc is so tall, so immense, that it was impossible to see it behind the bench!
All pictures were taken in october 2007, early in the morning. That's why they are a little dark. You can also see this place on my post of 2008, may, 22.
Any other question, dear blogger friend?...:-)))

Thank you, dear blogger friend! How very interesting. Beautiful piece of art and wonderful setting for it. I only hope they also have a bench facing it!!!!!!!!!!
