Ciel en feu / Burning sky

Il a plu toute la semaine dernière, et samedi après-midi, il y a eu une courte accalmie.
It rained all the past week long, but saturday, in the afternoon, it was quiet again.
J'en ai profité pour aller marcher, et voici ce que j'ai vu en arrivant au bord de mer.
So I decided to go for a walk, and this is what I saw when I arrived near the sea.



Ce qui a attiré mon regard, c'était cette lumière orange vers le sud.
What attracted my eyes was this orange light on the south.






De là où j'étais, j'avais l'impression que l'horizon brûlait.Le sommet des montagnes semblait en feu.C'est déjà arrivé, mais généralement , les feux , c'est en été.

From the place I was, it seemed that the skyline was burning. I already saw those mountains burning, but in summer, never in winter.

Et puis j'ai réalisé que c'était le soleil d'hiver, jetant ses derniers feux dans sa bataille contre les nuages...

Then , I realised that it was the winter sun, throwing its last fires into its battle against the clouds..

Depuis hier, dimanche, la tempête est revenue.Il est tombé des trombes d'eau, poussées par un vent violent qui a provoqué pas mal de dégats. Pour l'instant, nous n'avons pas revu le soleil...

Since yesterday (sunday), the storm came back. There was a loooot of rain, pushed by hard winds. Until now, we did not see the sun again...
