Joies simples /Simple joys

It's stronger than me: when it's raining, I HAVE to go outside!
To stroll under the rain, to breathe the different smells rain brings, to savour the lonelyness,to hide under my big umbrella and look at the light playing with the pools,to listen to the raindrops, to look for reflects,to discover the new landscapes drowned in the grey of the clouds...
And then, to go back home and drink a hot chocolate...Simply happyness!

You make rain seem such a pleasure. I can assure you that it is not alwsy so ;-)

In the rain, you can see another scenery.
I understand your feeling.

by the way, I'm near to ochanomizu.
But I have not crossed the river, so I'm still northern side of the river.

My favorite is the reflection of the palm trees in the parking lot puddles! I don't like rain and most times stay indoors if I can help it. The raindrops on the blue post are interesting also.

What are the white things on the left of that ferris wheel?

The architecture is beautiful and love the brick design of the walk way plaza. What kind of a building is it that has statues on the roof, etc? Is it oriental? What is the significance?

I would like to walk in the rain sometimes but around here people would think you were crazy.
You made the rain look good in your pictures.

Me again, after your last comment: It was much appreciated. Paris is a lovely place indeed. If you follow the link in my post, you'll find a video of the trip in the lift to the top of the tower. I took that on a previous trip to Paris.

To Paulie:
the white thing is a fountain.
What you see as a parking is the big foot-path that goes all along the beach all along the bay (which makes a 11 kilometers foot-path);
And things with the oriental statues are both pieces of art and lights. In the evening, they change their colors every 30 seconds but in such a way that you can not see at what moment the color has changed! There are 10 of those statues (there is one picture on my sidebar on the right of the blog.)
