A lot of people take time to feed the birds..
Certains le font tranquillement, comme en invitant les oiseaux à se joindre à la conversation, dans une sorte d'intimité amicale et familière..~~
Some people do it quietly, they seem to invite the birds to join the conversation, in a friendly intimity..
Pour d'autres, on dirait qu'il s'agit d'invoquer quelque dieu et de s'attirer ses bonnes grâces..~~
For some others, it seems that they want to invoke some god and get some favor from the sky..
Parfois, cela ressemble à la recherche désespérée d'un ami..~~
Sometimes , it looks like the desperate search for a friend..
A quoi rêvent les oiseaux?.. Tête blanche ou tête noire,leur amitié n'est qu'éphémère et interessée. Leurs pensées et leurs ailes les ramènent toujours vers les vagues..

White head or black head does not matter. Their friendship is only ephemere . Their thoughts and their wings always bring them back to the waves..

Lovely pictures and thoughts. I remember le boulevard des anglais very well. It seems that even in winter (almost spring) it is a beautiful place.
There is that something special about birds that have always fascinated men. Maybe that is why it is one of the most popular photo subjects there is.
You got soem great shots! I especially like the wingspan of the bird in the first one and the bird sitting on the fence in the last one. Of course, I noticed the benches in two of them also. . .
