" Women in the war"
They are living in Bosnia,in Tchetchenia, in Bolivia, in Afghanistan, in Rwanda, in Indonesia, in Colombia, in Centrafrica,in Palestinia, and in many other places in the world.
They lost their husband, their children, their parents.
They have no house anymore.
They have no house anymore.
They are enduring violence, hunger, cold, poverty, loneliness, fear.
They have no past anymore, no future, and their present is terrifying them.
And though, they hold on, they resist, they survive.
Sometimes, they even smile.
Nick Danziger pictured them, so that noone will forget them...

They say "war is hell" - and it is. This proves it . Once more.
PS I'll have a look at the birds a bit later!
War always brings grief.
War is always sad.
Thank you, Mr. Danziger! We need to never forget. It is n caring for others that they care for us also.
Thanks for sharing and reminding us of these women who have so little but yet have so much!
I left comments on the last three posts today. I got behind with reading when I started walking more and playing in the snow.
Merci Malyss
